Portuguese (Online)
With approximately 260 million speakers, Portuguese is one of the world’s major languages, and any steps towards learning its intricacies are bound to open up a new world of opportunities and perceptions. Not least amongst those is Portugal itself, where you can drink, dance and feast your way through captivating cobblestone cities, medieval castles and golden beaches.
Hatchling will give you an intro into the Portuguese language. You will learn how to pronounce the alphabet and will have enough basics to be able to greet Cristiano Ronaldo on the streets of Portugal. In addition you will learn about both Portuguese and Brazilian knowledge.
Chick will introduce you to Portuguese grammar and give you the building blocks for learning the language. As well as grammar, the chick course will increase your knowledge about how to construct sentences and will give you enough Portuguese knowledge to (flamingle) mingle with the locals on trips abroad.
In Post Chick you will start learning about tenses as well as beginning to have short conversations in Portuguese. Post chick will enable you to increase your comprehension skills and pronunciation skills.
Our Spring Semester Online Portuguese classes begin on the following date (dependent on level selected):

Wednesday 2nd April 2025
Thursday 3rd April 2025
Each lesson lasts for 1.5 Hours
Each Course lasts for 10 weeks from the start date. (Please note that there will be NO classes on Easter Weekend!)
Our online classes are held over zoom, and the group has a maximum of 10 students.
