  • Robbie Norval

    Founding Director

    Robbie is passionate about empowering individuals and wanted to create an organisation which provides both stimulating and interactive activities. His goal is to show that it is never too late to learn and also to highlight the amazing cognitive benefits of learning a foreign language.

  • Kamilla Biskup

    Development Manager

    Kamilla was born in Poland, grew up in Germany, studied in Austria before making Scotland her home. Having always had a passion for languages, Kamilla studied Audio-visual Translation and is now happy to use her previous experience in various business development roles to help Lingo Flamingo spread its wings.

  • Rosi Mele

    Tutor Development Manager

    Rosi was born and bred in Pompeii, Italy, but chose to make bonnie Scotland her forever home in 2007. A Modern Languages and Arts graduate, Rosi believes languages and cultures are powerful tools to broaden personal horizons and enhance physical and mental wellbeing. As an experienced Lingo Flamingo tutor, she has supported many care providers in offering accessible and engaging language sessions to older adults, including those living with dementia. As a development manager her ongoing aspiration is to raise awareness and facilitate access to the amazing cognitive benefits of learning a foreign language, at any age.

  • Lottie Townend

    Marketing Officer

    Lottie was born in England, grew up in the Netherlands and made Scotland her home when she came to study at the University of Glasgow in 2019. She is responsible for all things marketing and social media, and aims to continue developing a fun, engaging and informative online presence for Lingo Flamingo.

Join the Flock

We are always looking for compassionate tutors across Scotland who would like to make a difference in society by empowering people through the knowledge of language. You must have a passion for foreign languages, excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, and a warm, welcoming demeanour.

We provide a positive working environment with continuous support, a peer network and excellent training delivered in partnership with the Open University. So, come on board and make a difference today!

Current Vacancies:

We are looking for compassionate, creative and driven tutors to teach tailored language classes to older adults in care homes and community centres, with three new openings:

🇪🇸 Spanish speaking tutors to teach in Dunfermline

🇫🇷 French speaking tutors to teach in Glasgow

🇩🇪 German speaking tutors to teach in Edinburgh

All positions are on a contract driven basis to teach sessions of up to 10 weeks. Each session will be one hour per week, with total teaching being no more than 3 hours a week. Due to doing outreach projects having a clean driving license and access to a car is highly preferable.
